November 2020 Volunteer of the Month - Lisa
During this month of gratitude and giving thanks, we want to give thanks to Lisa, one of our volunteers and foster
parents. Although Lisa has been with us less than a year, she has already opened her home to many dogs in need, along
with various volunteer activities, such as delivering dog food to community members in need. Lisa had this to say about
herself and why she chooses to volunteer with Paw Patrol:
“I am a lifelong animal lover and have owned, worked with, and cared for many over the years. This year, with
retirement, I have been blessed with having the time to do more. I wanted to do something worthwhile with my time and
really make a difference. Fostering and volunteering for Paw Patrol Dayton has given me the opportunity to not only work
for a worthy cause but do something that I love at the same time. Fostering dogs has brought me a joy and satisfaction
that is like no other. "Taking care of animals is not what I do, It's who I am."
Thank you again, Lisa, for all you do to help our furry companions!!!
