May 2022 Volunteer of the Month - Moe
Hi my name is Moe (Maureen). I've had animals all my life. I've always considered them my kids and love them so much. A while back, I was walking my dog close to where I live and saw a kitten living in a pipe by a small creek. I saw his mother a few times. I started taking a can of cat food every day. It was getting cold so I talked to my friend Jenny, who is also a Paw Patrol volunteer, about trapping them. Jenny and Shelley, from animal control, helped me with traps and we caught them. Shelley took them to be fixed and I found a good home for the kitten and Jenny got a home for the mom cat. Next, I had a kitten brought to me and I got her spayed and found her a good home. Soon after that, Jenny talked to me about joining Paw Patrol to help more homeless animals. I am now a foster and love it! The cats and dogs deserve a better life. I love all the fur babies and want to help however I can. Thank you Paw Patrol for all you do and I'm glad to be a small part of it.
We are so glad Moe was able to find her way to us and continue saving the lives of these innocent babies. Thank you so much for all you do!!!
