January 2025 Volunteer of the Month - Kayla
Let's start off 2025 by saying a giant thank you to one of our volunteers/fosters, Kayla! When a dog was abandoned at local park, Kayla saw the community's need for more foster parents and jumped right in to help!!! Read a bit more about Kayla here:
“My name is Kayla Bell. I'm a proud mom of two amazing kids and an administrator at a preschool. I've always believed in the importance of raising my children around animals, teaching them that compassion is key when caring for those who depend on us.
For as long as I can remember, I've been the go-to person for rescuing anything in need. It's actually become a bit of a running joke among my friends and family that I'm the modern-day “Dr. Doolittle,” because some of my rescue stories are almost too unbelievable to be true.
The deep love I have for animals is why I chose to foster for Paw Patrol, where I can make a difference in the lives of dogs and cats who've faced hardships. I've always been amazed by the loyalty of dogs—no matter their background, they show an incredible capacity for love.
At first, I hesitated to foster, worried I'd get too attached and end up keeping the dog. But when I successfully fostered my first dog, watching him find his forever home was an incredibly rewarding experience. His family loves him so much and he couldn't be happier! It showed
me that even if I can only help one animal at a time, I'm making a positive impact in a really large crisis, and that's what matters most. I'm thankful for my journey with Paw Patrol, which allows me to continue rescuing and providing the love and care animals deserve from the start.”
We are so thankful for Kayla and her dedication to helping save innocent lives. Thank you so much for all you do!
