December 2022 Volunteer of the Month - Mary
During December, we want to give a big round of applause to our foster parent, Mary. She adopted a dog from us and then got involved by fostering both dogs and cats this year. Here is a bit about Mary in her own words:
I learned about Paw Patrol from a friend and eventually adopted a Paw Patrol dog named Diamonte, now Shylo. Shortly after adopting my girl, my neighbor handed me a 6 week old kitty that her son had brought home and she was gonna turn loose. Paw Patrol said she could be a PPD kitty if I would foster her. I did and the rescue found her a wonderful home where she has 3 kids and a wonderful dog friend. And shortly after that PPD agreed to rescue two geriatric cats who were being seriously abused. I just wanted to repay their kindness by fostering a dog or 2. That was a couple of cats and a few dogs ago. And I continue to be amazed and appreciative of all the dogs and cats that Paw Patrol rescues, regardless of their age or condition. And all the happy endings are truly amazing !
Thanks, Mary, for all you have done and continue to do to help homeless animals in our community!
