Volunteers of the Month

August 2023 Volunteers of the Month - Kaitlyn & Debbie

This month, we want to say a big thank you to Kaitlyn and her mom, Debbie, for being fosters for homeless cats in our community. They jumped right into fostering and have been doing all they can to help as many kitties as they can.

“Hi! My name is Kaitlyn and my mom and I have been given the honor of being August’s volunteers of the month!

I have been obsessed with anything animal related for as long as I can remember. Instead of playing games when I was younger I spent my time browsing animals for adoption and begging my mom to let me save them. I have 10 animals in my house (not counting fosters or fish) and I've never been happier. Rescuing and helping the community gives me a sense of purpose and I just happen to be dragging my mom along.

We got into Paw Patrol when my aunt found a litter of kittens outside her apartment in March of this year and I couldn’t imagine my life without fostering. I’ve always wanted to do some sort of volunteering to give back to the community but I never had the chance. When I asked my mom to start fostering she couldn’t say no. I love helping animals, caring and providing for them, and setting them up for a successful life. I also love my mom and fostering through Paw Patrol has brought us closer. If you have been looking for an organization to volunteer with, Paw Patrol has some great people and some great pets.”

We are so appreciative for families like Debbie and Kaitlyn. Please join us in saying a giant thank you to both these ladies!
