January 2019 Volunteer Spotlight

This month, we would like to introduce to you one of our wonderful volunteers, Amy. She is one of those volunteers who has stayed out of the limelight, but been so helpful behind the scenes. Here is a little bit about Amy:

Amy says: I’ve always loved animals and grew up with plenty of pets. More recently, I’ve become a self-proclaimed “cat lady” with my three cats, Stitch, Hendrix, and Ben, and as much as I love them, I miss being around dogs. When I stumbled upon Paw Patrol’s Facebook page, I realized I could pet all the dogs by being a volunteer without having to upset my cats.

I enjoy volunteering with Paw Patrol because there are lots of opportunities to showcase individual talent, and I love how everyone comes together to create great events and programs (Paw Patrol has some of the best volunteers that I’ve known). I’m really excited for 2019 because I’m becoming more involved in creating and volunteering at those great events and programs instead of only doing the monthly email newsletter. I can’t wait to meet more great people and dogs at all the events, and maybe one day, I’ll become a foster (but only if my cats say it’s okay, ha ha).

Thank you so much to Amy for all your hard work and we hope to see more and more of you this year!
